Rankini Mandir, also known as Kapadgadi Ghat Rankini Mandir it is located 22KM from ghatsila Railway station .
It is widely believed that during ancient times, people travelling through the dense forest used to worship at the Rankini Devi temple for their protection and well being.


Bibhuti Bhusan Library (1 km)

Situated at College Road Ghatsila. It’s related to famous Bengali author Bibhuti Bhusan Bandopadhyay, who once lived in Ghatsila. This place have his Statue in front surrounded by mini park


Dharagiri Fall (14 km)

It’s a small spring in the midst of Hill and Jungle. The stream is crystal clear and cold. Relax in a stone and dip your feet in water. so be careful while stepping. The area is Green and Calm


Vaishno Devi Tample (14 km)

Siddeshwar Pahad (18 km)

There was a temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the hilltop. To reach you have to walk uphill for about 15-20 mins. The panoramic view from the top is very beautiful, you will get a birds-eye view of the surrounding areas from here.


Ratmohana (4 km)

This is a beautyful fall, this is situated on the river bank of Subernarekha River behind HCL, the old and new Subarnarekha bridge makes the view awesome. 4 KM from Ghatshila Station.


Chitrakut Pahad (3 km)

Chitrakut pahar located in lapse of mother nature.In the heart lies Shiva Temple surrounded by big rocks and painting of deities.A panaromic view of Ghatsila town can be seen


Rajbari (2 km)

In a marble plaque brief history of royal family of Ghatsila is written here. At the rear side of the palace the river Subarnorekha has taken a sharp turn. One can see the band of quartz stone across the river bed here.


Ramkrishna Math (3 km)

Ramakrishna Math, is a branch centre of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, Howrah,WB The Asharam is situated on a piece of one acre of land at Dahigora in the sub-divisional town of Ghatshila


Surya Mandir (3 km)

Surya Mandir is a temple dedicated to the Sun God, Surya. The temple was built in 2008 by the Sanskriti Vihar, a charitable trust. It is styled in the form of a huge chariot with 18 bedecked wheels and seven life-sized horses.


Bibhuti Bhusan House (2 km)

Renowned Bengali author Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay’s residence was in Ghatshila. That is why, while exploring the town, it will be worthwhile to visit his cottage. He was most famous for his “Apu” trilogy. Author Bibhutibhushan died in the 1950s in the cottage.


Burudhi Dam (9 km)

This place offer an awesome scenic view, the lake is surrounded by hills which makes this place very scenic and one of the most visited places in Ghatdhila. Boating options are also available here


Phuldungari Hills (1 km)
